In this video, I draw with Art Graf, while talking about materials and my process of working with my loose ‘Warm Ups’ sketchbooks.
You will have seen me draw in this Pith Pomelo on my recent Lives - it’s my go to for quick working drawings. The page size is great, lots of room to move around, and I feel relaxed enough with the paper to throw anything on to the pages.
I will eventually share a proper sketchbook tour, but for now I wanted to share a time lapse of me working on some faces.
Am I a YouTuber now? No…I have issues when it comes to ‘posting to a schedule’, and don’t wish to be a slave to another algorithm, however moving forward I will share more videos of this sort for everyone. I like the idea of having a video archive of my process that is easy to share and access, and YouTube seems to be a good place for it.
