Hi! I am interested in your course. You mentioned a video of your previous course by pressing a tab above. I can’t find the tab. Can you help me? I just want see an example of the course to see if it’s right for me. Thanks
As part of my Club Membership I will be creating Monthly colour focussed sessions, which build on what we started here, and will be in a similar style. It is not a 'course' as such, but a series of sessions, which we focus on as a group each month. Enjoy the Workshop!
Beautiful snowy pic! Looking forward to the Sunday sesh, thanks Raj :) I wanted to DM you but there isn't a way to do that on SS so I'll write to you here! I'm very proud of myself for making the space to draw more (go me, haha) but wanted to know if it's possible to create a thread where we can post stuff we've made. It looks like I can create a new thread on chat but wanted to know if you had/have another way we can do that. OR it's totally fine if that's not part of the intention of your SS, I'm also ok with that!
Hi Rosh! Its a great idea to have a thread to share work - I would love that! I will set up one now. I'll make it for paid only subscribers for now, so that it is more of an intimate space. I'm excited to see what you've been working on!
That sounds great, thank you! I often make something and have an urge to share it with an art community that isn't Instagram. Haha nothing mega special just a few sketches here and there :)
Loved having the personal connection in this post! Since I'm also married to a designer who draws, will definitely be sharing your site with him. Love that snowy view at the beginning- we've had a surprise few days of snow in Berlin, too, and it has brightened our mood immeasurably. If it must be dark and cold, bring on the snow!
Thank you so much for sharing! Aaaah you're in Berlin! Amazing! So nice to have more creatives to connect with over here in Germany. If you're ever near Munich, we must do a Substack meet!
Absolutely - an excellent goal for 2024. I've been speaking with creative friends about starting a salon/regular discussion and connection group in Berlin. We're hoping to start that in January, too.
Yeayyy!!! I wish we could do this as a live, but I'm aware that we all have different levels of daylight - finding a time where we could all mix together with natural light at the same time would be a challenge! BUT, I can't get enough of this - so can't wait to share it!
It’ll be perfect as a prerecorded video! I’ve had some very weird and unfavorable results from mixing paint in live sessions haha. Like where’s the pause button on this live Zoom? 🤪 It’ll be nice to just watch a video and go at our own pace.
YES EXACTLY! Also I think the point of this, is to make time for yourself in a calm relaxed way, and to not have the time pressure that live calls can give. It's all about being restful!

I'll set it up - I think you need to have the SS app on your phone, and you'll be able to access the thread / chat.

I think we just need to find a way to make it happen. We can do a Munich meet-up and a Berlin one. So fun, right?
YES! I do feel we need to create a bit of a creative hub in Germany!

I look forward to hearing more!
Slow Sunday Sessions sound splendid! I can't imagine a better way to spend a Sunday than mixing primary colors. ❤️💛💙
