Not to brag, but I woke up to this:
Now THAT’S December, am I right?!
On to what’s coming up:
I am focussing on a mindset of ‘Rest & Reflection’ this month.
Now the reality of my life right now includes a whopping new freelance project (YEAY!!!) alongside a lack of sleep from a teething and unwell toddler (BOO), and the usual joys of the festive season (I have Advent Calendars to fill!!!) - so there is not a HUGE amount of downtime on the cards. HOWEVER - that does not need to mean that the month should feel intense. I am determined to hold onto a feeling of the festive, joyful, celebratory vibes that December can bring, whilst allowing my brain to be relaxed, AND to maintain a connection to my sketchbooks. It CAN be done my friends!
I plan to bring YOU Rest and Reflection in the form of:

Sunday Colour Session: Getting to know your primaries.
I had intended to share a Colour session in November but Folktale Week took over, so instead I am going to double down on the colour practice work this month. This is the first of our slow Sunday Sessions, and it goes out this Sunday 3rd. I wanted to make sure you got access to it at the start of the month so that we can connect / chat and explore further as the month progresses.

My Self Directed ‘Annual Review’
I will take this time to reflect on my work over the past year, and attempt to find some connective threads that could help to bring some focus to what I can create next year. If you’re at the start of your sketchbook practice, I’ll give you a framework that you can use to help guide your work. If you’re also at the point where I am, where you’re tripping over your work because there’s so much of it, I’ll share my Reflection questions that you can apply to your own analysis.

Life Drawing Sketchbook Tour Part 2
I’ll be closing the year sharing the second filled sketchbook focussed on faces, life drawing and general figurative work. It feels good to share it this side of new year, as form of positive closure!

Poster build Process
A process video of a recent poster I designed. Taking the piece from ink on paper to the digital process in Photoshop.
I’m excited, how are you all feeling?
Let me know in the comments!
Hi! I am interested in your course. You mentioned a video of your previous course by pressing a tab above. I can’t find the tab. Can you help me? I just want see an example of the course to see if it’s right for me. Thanks
Beautiful snowy pic! Looking forward to the Sunday sesh, thanks Raj :) I wanted to DM you but there isn't a way to do that on SS so I'll write to you here! I'm very proud of myself for making the space to draw more (go me, haha) but wanted to know if it's possible to create a thread where we can post stuff we've made. It looks like I can create a new thread on chat but wanted to know if you had/have another way we can do that. OR it's totally fine if that's not part of the intention of your SS, I'm also ok with that!
