I like storing my pencils in a pencil roll. It’s great to take to the park (if the weather ever warms up) or roll out on my desk so I can see all the colours all at once. When I’m not using them they’re nicely rolled up and sitting in my art cart

I haven’t really done the pencil roll thing, but the more i think of it the more I see how it’s a great solution. You really can see everything so pencils don’t get forgotten! I think i need to make one that suits my needs - you made your own too, right?

I was resistant at first for my hubby convinced me I would like it, and he was right… no, I didn’t make my pencil roll (lot of other tool rolls though!), I got it before my sewing machine, but they are pretty simple, just a strip of elastic down the middle of long piece of fabric really.

What a great looking palette, love your colours! And I’ve been using mine in the last few days, it’s such a handy little thing to throw in a bag, I’m loving it!

Thank you! I need to get some of the colours from your palette - I realise that I actually love gouache when I DON'T have to mix them myself! Which is dangerous!

Yes it’s great! And you could even fill these pans with premixed colours, you would only have to mix them once 😇
