Thanks for such a fun session, just what the art doctor ordered! ☺️ I’m off to test those pastels and invest in a fancy sketchbook (my first ever I think??!) also really inspired by your sketchbooks Louise & thinking what to name mine 😄
unfortunately I never can join live (maybe one day!), but just want to say thank you for sharing the replays Raj, always amazing tips about materials and color ❤️ P.S.- will trip to dip my 2 pastels to see if pastels are not totally over for me 🫠
Thanks for getting me to pull my dusty tin of pastels out of the depths of my drawer. I don't use them for the same reasons, but dipping them in water is a great suggestion. (Thank you, Orla.) We could try out the dusty things at an outdoor session in the Bavarian woods 🤓 And you could bring some of these soft cookies you mentioned. ☺️

That's a great plan! Soft pastels in the forest and lots of cookies - YUM!
thanks for the replay! it was nice to have company in my studio while I worked.
My pleasure! I love this for studio company too!
That was a very nice video to watch!
Glad you enjoyed it, thanks for watching!
Oh I’m glad you like the texture! Do you think you’ll keep them?
yeah, I think I will keep them. The wet approach is much less icky! And the colours I have are so gorgeous!
