38. Self portraits as a means of self reflection

I recently watched this video by Danny Gregory and was reminded of why I love the practice of drawing self portraits.

It is something I have dipped in and out of over the years. Sometimes it feels indulgent, or awkward, or weird. But I never regret a self portrait and I am amazed by what I capture.
